Here we have a vintage Colibri fuel lighter engraved with a star and Elizabeth 4

Cope remained at the Wellington Works and Warrillow moved to the Park Place Works in Longton for the two years 1887 & 1888 - in 1889 moved to the Queen's Pottery works in nearby Sutherland Road

You can see what the original colour was (and could be) from the base and inside the wells - a rich almost gilt bronze

and 7cm tall at the heel
